Here at K3 Starcom we think that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an important element of what we aim to achieve as a business, so we work hard to give as much as we can back to the community we live and work in. We do this through working with, and fundraising for, local charities to try to help them achieve their aims.

We work closely with three charities.

Joining Jack is a charity focussed on trying to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and we at K3 Starcom are pleased to be able to help them whenever we can. We consider Joining Jack our primary supported charity and have been involved with them for a number of years now.

We donate as a company as often as we can and our staff have taken part in various sponsored events on behalf of Joining Jack. We are incredibly proud to be associated with them and to help raise the much needed funds they need.

Starcom and its staff have been involved in events on the behalf of Joining Jack including:

The 2015 Wigan 10K

The Joining Jack Manchester 100 Mile Bike Ride in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015

The Steve Prescott Foundation is a charity founded by ex-international rugby player, Steve Prescott.

The charity aims to raise money to fund cancer research and treatments, donating all funds it generates to The Christie and Try Assist.

K3 Starcom first got involved with SPF in 2009 and have taken part in numerous events with them, including the Catalan to Wembley in 2009 and the Tour De Yorkshire in 2014.

We have been involved with the Wigan and Leigh Hospice for a number of years.

The Hospice focusses on providing expert palliative care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses.

K3 Starcom and our staff raised money for the Hospice during the Wigan and Leigh Hospice colour Run in 2014 and 2015
